One way to significantly increase the power availability is by replacing the batteries that already are in the devices with deep cycle batteries. These are usually used for industrial purposes. LED emergency lights are so efficient due to the relation between the emitted intensity of the light and the electrical current. Usually, the color of these emergency lights is red, but also green and yellow-orange. Their only drawback is that the batteries used provide power only for a time. And they will need recharging and that will be impossible to do if the power will still remain unavailable for a time.
